While Rokas was here in Korea to visit me I was also managed to finally register as an artist for portrait drawing corner in Hongdae Saturday artist market. It was harder than hard boiled egg. Paper --> face, paper --> face, paper --> face... that's all you manage to see in those six hours. But before we started I drew a portrait for Rokas (evil me, haven't even given it to him yet) and it was like a blast for new conception of portraits, an idea to draw people together with their favourite animals or one of 12 Chinese year guardians.
So, if you ever been to Hongdae district in Seoul you might now how fun it is to get lost among all those little similar streets full with awesome unique cloth or shoes store (fit to every tastes from girls who love just flat shoes to teenagers who search for a more rocky, punk or goth garments), cute cafes with deliciuos belgium chocolates or english cheese cakes, art galleries and everything else you would have ever wished for. I you ever happen to pass by, there's a new unique design t-shirt shop called "artisstar" on one of those streets. There, on the second floor, you can also find high quality T's or hoodies with my funny rabbit designs as well.

Yes, I decided I should daily update all the postcards I have in stock on sale cause it's possible for any person in any part of the world to buy them. You don't have to be in Korea, you can receive it in 2 weeks by post to anywhere.
For payment, I can receive Lithuanian and Korean direct bank transfers or Paypal payments for any other countries.
What will you get?
The backside of the postcard have a normal sender/contents/postmark inscriptions - just like a real postcard.
Only one copy of the work in whoooole wiiiide woooorld~
How do ya do, old folks? Guess what? After 6 month break in Lithuania I am back in South Korea, particularly, back in Jeju city in Jeju island. Back to drawing commissions, portraits, wall murals and every other kind of stuff. I feel great overfilled with art related work here, even if I have to work 14 hours a day with no offs... but still It's GREAT!!! :DDD
So I work in a special place where you can not only drink beer, chat, order music to play out loud, but also - it's in the menu - in 20 minutes you can get a portrait of yours freshly baked right in front of your eyes.
And it's not some boring and tiresome "not moving" in front of the artist. You can enjoy yourself freely, chat with friends, submerge in your cellphone, smoke and drink - I will still be able to catch your looks on the paper ;)
Today was the last day of Hongdae free market (홍대앞 예술시장 프리마켓) (TT.TT)''
I sold some postcards, met nice people, had a great time despite the cold. Artist market is a great place, I love this idea of every weekend fellow artist sharing their creations ^-^. Anyway now it will be closed for winter season and reopen only next year february, I think... so sad about it...
To sum up during these three months I sold around 69 handmade postcards (counting only originals here, cause I lost the number of prints long ago ;p).
I completely made 78 of them, but I think I will continue making some even if there's no market anymore until I reach a beautiful number of 100. "100 postcards scattered in Korea" --> quite a nice title for an exhibition, don't you think? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I have nine sketches so far that leaves me 13 to imagine more.
I guess everyone is already bored with my posts how wonderful is BBC mini series about modern times Sherlock Holmes, hahaha. Just bear with it...
As a true artist I even did a fanart today, yay for me ^__^
I am really glad how it turned out, in my eyes it was quite hard to represent the character in a way it is reflected in my mind (confusing sentences >.<).
Anyway this will be my today's "picture of a day" cause no doubt I am going to be "sherlocked" for another days or two or even for couple of weeks.
Sitting in study room and chatting with my mom about creations and significant philosophical meaning attached to it. 16% of my battery remains and it leaves me 24 minutes to wrap up the conversation.
Left arrow button on the keyboard started to work falsely...
What's for dinner?
My arts are a piece of my life.
