This weekend was WOOOoooOH~ Thanks to awesome organisers from SeongBuk Global Village Center (you can find them here: https://www.facebook.com/globalcenter.sb) I was able to participate in annual European Christmas market they have in Seongbukcheon fountain square. I was wonderful experience, I met so many nice people and I was very proud to be able represent my country with my arts. | Photo moments from the event: |
On second day of the market (Saturday), even few wondering Lithuanians (to be exact - 4 current exchange students) came to the stand with such a surprise in their eyes. I guess it's kinda rare to expect Lithuanian tent in European Christmas market somewhere so far away from home. "What a pleasant surprise" they said, "a taste of home" they described the feeling while being served a cup of caraway tea (lit. kmynu arbata) at our stand. And also I had a great opportunity to try out my new idea of animal portraits. To be precise - portraits WITH animals. I will write my next post about it ;) Overall summary: this event was GREAT! New valuable connections I made: 14. Expectations for next year: to be able to participate again with even bigger Lithuanian stuff assortment. |
